This training is designed for employees who may encounter armed offenders in the workplace or who want to be prepared for such situations. This includes security personnel, managers, and frontline employees.

- identify potential offenders and concealed weapons
- conduct a workplace risk assessment including locational characteristics and security capability levels
- apply deterrence strategies and deploy physical safety measures
- implement an effective exit strategy
- understand appropriate actions during the incident, including when confronted by an active offender
- implement effective communication strategies, including with police and emergency services
- understand how to best coordinate a response in real-time with police and emergency services
- implement a post-incident recovery plan
- deploy active weapon survival tactics and self-defence where necessary
- participate in realistic, scenario-based training exercises
